A product with a certain degree of quality, is generally recognizable not by the multiplicity of elements, but rather when only one regulating element guides the harmony of the whole; its form is participant to its expression and aesthetic perception. What follows, is a flow of composition, curves and elements that integrate function and detail with logic of mutual relations.
The product will be what it is supposed to be, and the creator’s subjectivity will serve the final product. In one of his conferences, Max Bill advocated with great clarity the ultimate requirement of a “good project”: For the decisive factor is not the expression of the designer but the expression of the object.
